Peter is the co-founder of @Ventures, which was formed in 1995. Now investing the firm's 5th fund, Peter operates out of the firm's Menlo Park, CA office.
Peter has played a key role in a number of successful investments for @Ventures, including GeoCities (Nasdaq: GCTY then acquired by Yahoo), Vicinity (Nasdaq: VCNT then acquired by Microsoft), and Avamar Technologies (acquired by EMC). He currently holds board or observer seats with 212 Resources, Advent Solar, Cobalt Biofuels. and Propel Biofuels.
Previously, Peter had extensive operating and manufacturing experience across a wide spectrum of industries. This included: the semiconductor industry as CEO of the United States Display Consortium (USDC) and as Chief Administrative Officer of SEMATECH, the industry-led consortium focused on semiconductor manufacturing; software as co-founder and COO of Softrend and Senior Vice President of BPI after the merger of Softrend and BPI Systems; hardware manufacturing at Digital Equipment and manufacturing at Ford Motor Company.
Peter received his BS in Communications from Ithaca College and an MBA in Marketing from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University..
