Marc Poirier
Managing Director

Marc has been a General Partner in @Ventures’ Boston-area office since 1998, and he has spent most of his career working with entrepreneurial companies.  Prior to joining @Ventures, Marc was a co-founding employee of an online content company for internet service providers, where he served as a vice president in several operational and functional capacities, including finance and business development. He also spent eight years with Ernst & Young in the Entrepreneurial Services Group and in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group, where he was a Senior Manager.

Marc received a B.S. in Business Administration from Providence College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Marc has more than a decade of experience engaging with entrepreneurs and other investors on the boards of directors of early-stage technology companies.  He currently serves on the boards of Foodbuy, H2Gen Innovations, M2E Power, and Powerit Solutions.  Marc is also a member of the North American Advisory Board of the Cleantech Group, an industry association supporting the development and deployment of clean technologies worldwide.
